Kimiyo Mishima is a Japanese artist who lives and works in Osaka. Since the 1970’s, she has been creating her signature ceramics described as “breakable print matters”. Sensitive towards today’s over-informational era, Mishima always turns the ordinary into extraordinary with a great sense of ironic humor.

We chose Kimiyo Mishima to be part of our collection because her work undoubtedly echoes the core of our mission: observing the world with a modern and critical eye.
